I define photoart as a form of fine art photography that uses the photograph as a basis for creative imagery.

I feel that ultimately no matter what creative method is used in fine art photography, an artist must be comfortable with the result of his labor. What it takes to achieve this satisfaction changes over time and that to me is the beauty of the adventure.
